  • Canning line/Crowler recommendations

    Howdy all,
What canning lines would you recommend for a microbrewery (production <1000bbl annually)? Conversely, which ones would you avoid? Feel free to PM the latter.

Same query goes for crowler machines.

    Thanks & Prost!

It depends what is your budget but to my opinion Wild Goose has great seamer. I would buy Wild Goose again. I know of couple of people who are happy with their MacroCanner. I would not buy Cask and i have heard ABE seamers to be problematic.

      Thanks Thirsty_Monk,
I have heard opinions all over the map about Wild Goose. What, specifically, do you like about their seamer?

      Prost!

It is a cam design of repeatable seaming. (Air cylinder drives a cam that is pushing seaming roller). If your air pressure fluctuate or the air cylinder does not extend all the way it will still seam to correct specifications.
