This is a job opening for the position of a Head Brewer for a BREWPUB in Seoul, South Korea; the opportunity is open to all international applicants and our company will handle visa application and processing.
JAFA Brewery, established in February 2019. The Brewery was born out of the love for easy drinking and session-able beers. We are focused on making creative, and well-balanced beers. Each beer is crafted locally using the finest of ingredients and authentic brewing techniques.

The brewery is located in Seongsu Dong, a very trendy and artistic part of Seoul. This area is often referred to as the Brooklyn of Seoul. The Brewpub is inside a refurbished chemical factory and shares the complex with other restaurants, cafes and shops.

Compensation:
- Compensation – Upwards of USD 50,000 per year; Depending on profile of the candidate.

- Brew-house – 10HL (2 Vessel with separate HWT – Mash/Lauter and Kettle/Whirlpool)
- Fermentation Tanks – 10 (Each 10HL)
- Bright Beer Tanks – 4 (Each 10HL)
- Semi Automatic Bottling Machine – 4 Head
- Single Head Keg Cleaning Machine
Candidate Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience primarily as a Head Brewer or substantial years of experience.
- Formal brewing degree is an advantage
- Proven experience in unique recipe formulation
- Adept at inventory planning and management
- Must have knowledge of packaging – Bottles and Kegs (Important)
- Extremely quality driven with a big focus on cleanliness and hygiene
- Experience in providing training/coaching to assistant brewers
- Resourceful with a 'get-it-done, can-do' attitude. Must be able to function at a high level in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter, proactive - able to work independently and shows initiative to make things happen and improve results
