Harpoon Brewery has an opening for a Maintenance Manager in our Boston Brewery
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food and/or beverage industry
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience
• Prior experience with maintenance project management
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics and blue prints
• Fork lift certification
• Boiler certification
• Genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Manage all Maintenance personnel
• Implement and institutionalize a centralized system for documentation and analysis of all facility system and equipment maintenance
• Ensure machines are operating within specifications and of highest caliber
• Ensure staff maintain accurate and detailed daily run logs
• Maintain an orderly and safe work environment within department as well as entire facility
• Lead regular departmental meetings to review issues and propose solutions
• Perform daily checks on all critical systems and record findings
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance repairs for staff accordingly
• Understand production systems and machinery thoroughly, diagnose source of failures and make emergency repairs to all systems as needed
• Assist operations staff in setting up and making running adjustments to equipment to maintain maximum efficiency, staying with them through runs as needed.
• Take the initiative assigning PMs, troubleshooting and in developing, meeting or exceeding standards and time tables
• Facility snow removal as needed
