Job Title: Production Coordinator
Position Type: Full time, salary
Location: Amherst, WI
Posting Date: 4/3/15 – 4/17/15
Position Summary: The production coordinator will be responsible for scheduling production from brewhouse through packaging and ordering ingredients in order to meet set schedules.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule wort production, beer transfers, and beer packaging.
• Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels.
• Order raw ingredients to adhere to schedules.
• Order packaging materials to adhere to schedules.
• Manage outgoing shipments of product.
• Prepares reports for the purpose of maintaining accurate records.
• Researches discrepancies on orders and or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) for the purpose of correcting errors and or returning damaged or incorrect items to suppliers or vendors.
• Follows organizational standards for safety policies & best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent Planning/Organizing skills - the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with SAP is a plus.
• Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, and responds to management direction.
• Prior Industry experience.
• A passion for craft beer.
