We need more talent! Rahr and Sons Brewing Company began in 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas. We currently produce 5 year-round beers, four 6-pack seasonal, and 2 four-packs, throughout the brewing calendar. Our beer is available in almost every corner of the state, and Texas has many corners. We recently launched in Oklahoma, as well. We are rapidly growing and brewing as much beer as possible to meet demand. New equipment is arriving and we are looking to increase our production team accordingly. This is not an entry level job as we need somebody to learn our systems quickly. This position also offers room to grow as we expand our operation. While this is an overnight shift to begin, we are constantly looking to increase key team member's roles.
Duties to Include, but not Limited to:
CIP of fermenters and brite tanks
Clarification using a GEA Centrifuge
Dry Hopping
Coordinating with lead brewer on tasks needed for brew shift
Upkeep of cellar and help lead brewer with brewhouse area
Daily communication with laboratory tech and assists with daily duties
Assist management of fermentation
Operate forklift when needed
Take OSHA course and maintain good safety record
Candidate Qualifications
At least one year of professional brewing experience or brewing education
College Degree
Flexible schedule
Ability to lift 160 lbs and ability to carry 55 lbs.
A keen sense of taste
Brings good conversation when drinking quality beer
