Yazoo Brewing in Nashville, TN has an opening on our packaging line. We currently package five days a week on a new 24-head Comac bottling line, with a Ska depalletizer, Inline pressure-sensitve labeller, Hartness drop-packer, and Pearson six-pack erectors and stuffer.
Prior experience in a fast-paced production brewery is plus, but we can train the right candidate. This is a shift position, either a 6 AM - 2 PM, or 10 AM - 6 PM shift. You are on your feet all day, and must be able to repeatedly lift cases of beer weighing 30 lbs. Teamwork and communication skills are important parts of the job, as is attention to detail and following established procedures for operation and cleaning.
About Yazoo Brewing: we are a tight-knit crew, family-owned and independent. We began in 2003, and have grown to around 25,000 bbls. We tend to focus on sessionable ales and lagers, but in past few years we also developed a well-regarded line of sour and wild ales called Embrace the Funk. We're located in the heart of Nashville, in an area called the Gulch. Nashville is a vibrant and growing city, and will be the host to the Craft Brewers Conference in 2018.
