Hanging Hills is seeking an honest, fun and passionate dedicated to their work, committed to quality standards, and excited to be a part of a unique and innovative craft brewery in Hartford, Connecticut to become our full time tasting room manager.
Job Description:
- Manage and schedule a team of beer tenders and volunteers
- Maintain a welcoming, educational, safe, exciting and inviting taproom environment
- Manage Tap Room Customers satisfaction and overall brewery visitor experience through building of lasting guest relationships
- Solicit and execute tasting room events
- Develop a tasting room marketing program with management team including, but not limited to: regular posting to the big 3 social medias, beermenus.com, updates to our website, etc.
- Achieve objectives by selecting, orienting, scheduling, training and coaching staff—communicate job expectations for all functions
- Effectively collaborate and coordinate activities with other Hanging Hills staff and with head of brewing operations, chief revenue officer and chief financial officer. Included with this is management of retail budget and financial objectives as they relate to overall brewery goals
- Manage inventory and participate in merchandise selection to forecast inventory needs
- Analyze trends in visitors, events, beer, food and merchandise
- Properly enforce all federal, state and local regulations
- Work with our graphic designer to effectively communicate beer releases
- Manage Square and educate staff on usage
- Solicit customer feedback to improve process and product
- Weekly (usually Friday) deliveries of beer to West Hartford and Hartford
- Other duties and projects as assigned such as pouring events, deliveries and be available to be awesome on a whim’s notice
