Hop and Wine Beverage, a premier and growing craft beer wholesaler is currently seeking an Independent Account Manager to join our team in the Richmond area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Become fully acquainted with the EoStar system (entering orders, tracking orders)
• Grow sales volume in assigned territory
• Execute and close sales calls
• Follow up on and close any provided/gained leads
• Maintain relationships with existing customers to maintain maximum level of customer satisfaction
• Regularly visit current account to grow the existing business
• Aggressively pursue new accounts
• Research new, potential opportunities within territory
• Prepare regular reports to reflect current and projected revenue, as well as client activity
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels, company assets and POS, determine customer's product needs, place and transmit appropriate order
• Transport, replace, maintain products, and POS/marketing material
• Plan and attend sales events in cooperation with Vendor/Product supervisor
• Identify leads, obtains appointments, makes sales presentations, follow-up on leads
• Report regularly to management on weekly activities including goals, sales, prospects, and leads
• Participate in ride-along with managers, vendors
• Address customer needs and satisfaction issues
• Deliver product as needed
• Conduct tastings (where legal) in cooperation with account at least once a month
• Be accessible to customers and managers
• Attend monthly sales meeting
• Clean draft lines and equipment as needed
