Renegade Brewing Company opened in June 2011 in Denver, CO. We currently can three year-round beers and self-distribute from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins. We also supply a large amount of beer to Renegade Publik House and to draft accounts in the Denver metro area. We also operate a busy tasting room at our brewery location. Our rapidly growing company is seeking a qualified individual to fill a position in our brewery working directly under the supervision of the head brewer. Primary duties are listed below, however, we are a small company and everyone is expected to perform duties where needed. Please familiarize yourself with Renegade before applying for the position. We are seeking an individual with an absolute desire to work for Renegade, not just a desire to work in a brewery.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
-CIP of fermenters/bright tank
-Beer transfers/prep for packaging
-Fermentation monitoring
-Kegging beer
-Coordinating and supervising canning volunteers
-Assisting brewer with day to day tasks
-Upkeep & cleanliness of cellars
Qualified Candidates will possess the following:
-At least six months of professional (paid) brewing experience OR a technical brewing education
-Strict attention to detail
-Strong knowledge of the brewing process
-Working to high quality standards with and without direct supervision
-Ability to lift 55 lbs to shoulder height repeatedly
-Ability to maneuver full beer kegs (165 lbs)
-A positive attitude
-The ability to communicate and interact positively with coworkers
