I am interested in brewery lab or assistant brewer position in the Chicago area. I hold a Master of Science in biology from Northwestern University and have 10+ years’ experience in scientific research, including field and lab experience in analytical chemistry, microbiology, cell culture, and molecular biology. Additionally, I have worked as an assistant brewer at Renaissance Brewing, a small production brewery in New Zealand.
I recently moved back to Chicago and am looking for a career outside academic research. I can bring some serious lab experience and a solid foundation of analytical techniques as well as a comprehensive understanding of commercial brewing processes to any brewery hoping to grow. I am particularly interested in starting up a new lab for a smaller brewery.
