The ability to work in an environment centered on making a product people love. The chance to grow and educate yourself as a professional brewer. Since our founding in 2008 Hangar 24 has exploded to become one of the top 100 largest craft breweries in the US, and by our back-of-the-napkin math, one of the fastest growing breweries ever. To help us continue to grow as we expand further from our home-base in Redlands, California, we are looking to add a talented, creative, and driven brewer to our production staff.
The ideal applicant should expect to take charge of day-to-day brewing on our 20 bbl brewhouse alongside our current five-member brew staff. They will also be tasked with rotating through an R&D brewing assignment, during which a focus is placed on developing projects to increase the quality of our beer and the efficiencies of our brewery. You’ll be expected to develop your palate, serve as a brand ambassador, attend professional conferences, educate consumers about our beers at hosted beer dinners, and continue to grow your skillset in all areas of brewing as our company itself continues to expand and grow.
This is a unique chance to join a brewery big enough to give you the resources to do what you love on a grand scale, but still small enough to where you’ll feel like you’re a major part of everything we produce. We don’t plan to stop growing anytime soon, so if you think you fit with our company’s goals and values, and have a bachelor’s degree in a physical science (or comparable professional brewing experience), we’d love to have you along for the flight.
