We are a 2YO, small and rapidly growing 10HL brewery in NW Ontario and we are looking for an experienced, professional and personable brewer to help us continue to grow. Position is immediate. Formal training and certifications are a plus, but not a requirement – the ideal candidate has 3-10 years’ experience showing progressive levels of responsibility, canning/packaging experience a plus. Flexible schedule and remuneration package available. Organization is planning for a significant expansion as we can not keep up with current facility!
The successful proponent will be working in a small and dynamic team environment and will assist in the entire scope of brewery operations: recipe development, brewing, fermentation, CIP, cellaring, yeast management, canning/packaging. Additionally, the Brewer will be a key player on our team responsible for helping forecasting brew schedules, inventory management, spending time with customers talking about beer and giving brewery tours (we have an attached 275 seat taphouse), attending festivals and special events.
We are looking for a proponent with strong communication skills, is a creative problem solver, has a calm and focused demeanor with the drive to experiment with brewing techniques/styles and to constantly improve. You will need to be able to work well both independently and as a team member. Lots of room to grow with the organization.
