Looking to start your career in brewing? Concrete Beach Brewery in Miami is opening an entry-level intern/apprentice brewing position to be filled immediately.
This is a full time position (although we are open to 3 full days per week during the first month) as a brewer’s apprentice, to be filled for 4 months, starting as soon as March 15. Your primary responsibilities would begin with learning our lab sampling procedures and supporting quality and cleaning/sanitation here at the brewery, but have the potential to work yourself into all roles in brewing production and establish yourself as a professional brewer. Candidates must meet the following requirements:
-Basic understanding of the brewing process
-Experience homebrewing
-Ability to work well in team settings and independently
-Physically fit to operate in production brewing environment
-Ability to repeatedly lift 55lbs
-Strong work ethic and ability to multitask
-Experience with MS Office/data entry a plus
This is a paid internship.
Concrete Beach Brewery is a brand new brewery in the heart of the Arts District of Miami (Wynwood). We are just gearing up to start production brewing from a new, custom designed 20bbl brewhouse and look to brew 2-3 days per week, developing a mix of core beers (check out Rica Wheat IPA and Stiltsville Pilsner) and unique local and Social Hall only offerings.
