We are an independently owned, neighborhood brewpub looking for a lead brewer with solid professional experience to work in collaboration with our head brewer. This position will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the brewing program from ordering raw materials and scheduling to brewing and cellar work. Organization, strict sanitation, and quality assurance are key as we are constantly workshopping new recipes, generally juggling 4-5 yeast cultures, and mixed fermentation with wild yeast and bacteria is a strong focus. We are willing to offer a competitive salary and bonus structure to the right candidate with potential for growth.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• At least 3 years of professional brewing experience;
• Brewing degree or commensurate understanding of brewing science and engineering;
• Strong mechanical, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a vital member of the team;
• Strong work ethic, organization skills, and focus;
• Maturity and discipline;
• Professional references.
