Boulder Creek Brewery seeks head brewer / brewery manager
On March 29th 2015 Boulder Creek brewery suffered a massive fire.
We are currently in the process of re-designing and repairing our restaurant and brewery.
7 bbl to 10bbl . 800 - 1000 bbl annual production.
This is likely to take at least 10 months.
Our 26 year old brewery is quirky and lacks efficiency .
We are looking for a head brewer that has strong design experience, project management skills .is an incredible brewer, is adept and interested in creative beers and capable of consistent recipes and standards. Communication and team management are critical.
Our current head brewer, has decided to continue with his career elsewhere.
We are currently keeping our selves viable through collaboration & contract brewing .
We are looking for a long term commitment of no less than 3 to 5 years.
The job entails several immediate responsibilities:
1 kegging and distribution of collaboration and contract brews.
providing support to events this summer and fall.
2 Managing the repair and re-installation of our brewery
Design, equipment research, ordering, receiving and installation.
Install and test all control systems. test all brewing systems
3 Return the brewing facility back to full production levels. Assist owners in re-opening.
