Right Brain Brewery, located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Traverse City, Michigan, is looking for a Production Manager to help make life better for all employees. Right Brain has had steady growth in the past 8 years and is in need of a person to help continue the trend. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week throughout the year. Pay commensurate with experience. Paid vacation and retirement plan after one year employment.
Job Description includes:
Must have 2 years of commercial brewing experience and be computer literate. Must have leadership skills, as well as written and oral communication skills. Must be able to cope with frequent change and have an attitude that encourages others to do this as well. Problem-solving skills and ability to make a decision a must.
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift 55 pounds; kneel, stoop, crawl, climb, and stand on concrete for long periods; climb ladders and remain comfortable at heights up to 14 feet; speak, hear, and smell.
Work Environment:
This is a production facility and noise levels can be high. Must be able to communicate through noise of pumps, compressors, and other machines. Temperatures will fluctuate between hot and cold. Must be able to remain steady on feet on wet, slippery floors. Must be able to understand how to work safely with chemicals and supervise others working with these materials. Must be able to work around moving machines and parts and be able to operate a forklift safely.

Job Description includes:
- Schedule all production for pub and distribution, as well as employee schedules.
- Coordinate seasonal and year-round brews.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager, Head Brewer, Pub Manager, Marketing, and Sales.
- Supervise cellar and packaging shift and employees.
- Coordinate with brewhouse, cellar, and packaging to ensure all distribution orders are loaded in full each time, on time.
- Manage all cooler inventories and update on a daily basis.
- Help forecast quarterly production and package sales.
- Manage all brands for package and distribution. Coordinate with aforementioned managers for raw material orders and inventory, distribution, invoicing and forecasting.
