The ideal candidate for this position will head up our pilot brewing program. Responsibilities will include working with the brewery team to create innovative brewing recipes and processes; including identification and testing of new ingredients and yeast strains, continued development of our pilot system, and contribution to additional product lines. Additional duties include all aspects of brewing production at the Geary Brewing Company. Responsibilities include keg cleaning, tank cleaning, weighing and measuring brews, racking tanks, filtering tanks, racking kegs, fermentation readings, accurate and consistent record keeping, general cleaning and brewery tours. This includes all brewing functions related to raw materials, brewhouse, fermentation, aging, cold processing and utility functions, improving and standardizing all beer processing steps by coordinating with management to improve quality assurance measures. Additionally, This team member will collaborate daily with the various division staff to ensure production excellence and a cohesive working environment.
