Experienced Brewer Wanted in Nor Cal

Opportunity available to work at Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, Ca. We have a brand new facility and are looking to add an experienced brewer to our team. Located on the North Coast in the redwoods.

Duties:

Wort production on a 120 bbl Rolec automated system, from milling to knock out
Yeast harvesting, pitching and cleaning yeast brinks
Monitoring of specific gravity and pH on fermenting beer
Shift work that may include graveyard shifts and weekends
CIP's of brewhouse, fermenters, and brite tanks
General Cleaning
Completing paperwork with accuracy

Requirements:

2 years of brewing experience in a production facility producing at least 20,000 bbls a year.
Bachelors degree in a related science or formal brewing education.
Self motivated with problem solving abilities.
Able to work unsupervised and complete the tasks at hand.
Attention to detail.
Centrifuge experience a plus.
Team player with an emphasis on quality.
