Bira 91 is hiring a full time lead Brew Master for its brewing operations in India.
Responsibilities include
(1) New Recipe Development (specialty beers)
(2) Leading and managing India brewing and production teams in multiple packaging breweries
(3) Managing Contract production in multiple breweries
(3) Training and Development of brewing team
(4) Documentation of best practices and SOPs
(5) Managing quality and batch productions as per requirement through production team
(6) Providing technical inputs in upcoming company greenfield brewery projects
This is a unique opportunity to build and participate in the creation of a leading craft beer company in a large country with a large opportunity.
We are looking for passionate, committed, technically stellar, experimental and unorthodox brewers who are adventurers and not afraid of taking up a challenge. The candidate must have prior lead experience in a craft brewery operation with capacity of at least 200,000 bbl in size.
American experience huge plus (leadership team has significant American experience!)
Compensation $75,000 (salary) , plus travel allowances, all room/board at the expense of company, return travel to home country (flights) paid by company once a year.
Opportunity to travel to exotic locations and media interactions.
