We are looking for someone who is going to grow with 12 Gates, and can put in the time that it takes to build an icon. We need a new team member who is passionate about brewing and beer and is excited to tell people about it. We began production on our new 30 barrel, three vessel system three months ago. We are on track to produce 6000bbls this year and over 10,000bbls in 2017.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years brewing experience on 15bbl or larger system, experience with double batching.
Higher Education in Brewing or related sciences preferred.
Passion for great beer and ability to be a team player with a positive attitude.
Able to stand for 8+ hours per day, in a wet, cold, hot and occasionally comfortable environment.
Able to lift 55lbs repeatedly.
Mechanical aptitude, rational problem solving skills.
Flexible work schedule for double batching when needed.
Experience with Orchestrated Beer or other SAP based ERP systems preferred.
Responsibilities:
All aspects of brewing, cellaring, packing.
Directing assistant brewers and other staff efficiently and effectively.
Cleaning/sanitizing of all equipment.
Maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Quality control, including yeast management.
Inventory control, raw materials
Accurately record processes and tax vessel usage.
Occasional tours and special events.
