The Field Marketing Director will be responsible for strategic brand marketing initiatives in all regions where Flying Dog beer is sold.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for building and growing strategic brand partnerships
- Manage high-value relationships with new and existing brand partners, along with ongoing sponsorship and donation requests
- Create, promote and execute in-market brand strategy
- Work closely with field sales team, wholesalers and retailers to ensure brand strategy is achieved
- Educate distributor personnel and consumers on our beer, brewing process and products
- Assist with creative input on marketing programs, campaigns, and content
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of in-market brand events, promotions, and initiatives
- Provide a high level of customer service to distributors and retailers
- Implement and maintain a budget management system for in-market events, sponsorships and donations across all geographic focus areas
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 4-6 years of professional brand marketing experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literacy required with experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Mac proficiency preferred, including programs like Keynote
- Working knowledge of social media strategy, including channels like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Periscope
- Capability to become TIPS certified
- Ability to express a high level of brand insight and intuition
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- An eye for high-level brand design and aesthetic
- Incredible follow up skills
