    Dry Dock Brewing Company’s South Dock brewery, located in Aurora, CO is seeking a full time Brewer. Dry Dock is a growing company which operates two separate breweries, a 7 BBL tasting-room location and a 40 BBL production facility. This position is for the tasting-room location. This location produces about 2,000 BBL annually with two full-time brewers reporting to the Head Brewer.

    Job Summary:
    This position involves all aspects of working in a tasting-room brewery including wort production, fermentation, filtration/transfers, and yeast management. The Brewer will also have an opportunity to work with the coworkers to develop seasonal beers, firkins and barrel aged beers. The right candidate will be safety-minded, efficient, quality-focused, have a great work ethic, a positive attitude and be part of the team.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Brewing, transferring and cellaring beer
    • CIP tanks, cellar equipment and brewhouse
    • Harvest, pitch and manage yeast
    • Dry-hop and fine beers
    • Mill and stage recipes accurately
    • Maintain workplace safety while upholding quality standards
    • Continually lift, drag, carry and manipulate hoses, parts, pumps, buckets and reservoirs
    • Maintain accurate and legible records
    • Sanitation of all beer contact surfaces and equipment
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Requirements:
    • 2+ years brewery experience
    • Possess a mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
    • Need to be self-motivated
    • Ability to multitask and manage time while being detail oriented
    • Flexible schedule
    • Reliable transportation

    Physical requirements:
    Our Brewer must be able to bend over, twist, kneel, stand for the duration of a shift, lift 55 pounds and maneuver 160 pounds repeatedly. Requires proper handling of hazardous materials and operation of complex machinery. Good communication skills.
