    Fossil Cove Brewing Co., located in Fayetteville, AR is seeking a full time Shift Brewer. This position includes duties related to brewing operations and working as a member of the brewing team. Fossil Cove opened in June of 2012 and is experiencing steady growth, we sell draft and canned beer throughout Northwest Arkansas as well as our Tasting Room. We value an individual with a passion for great beer, a dedication to quality, strong work ethic, ability to work collaboratively and individually, a strong desire for improvement and a positive outlook.

    Fayetteville, AR is located in the Ozark Mountains and is close to all types of outdoor recreation activities including: canoeing, paddling, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, waterfall chasing, backpacking and camping; a vibrant and growing arts scene and growing craft beer community. Fayetteville is home to the University of Arkansas and is located in the same metropolitan area as fortune 500 companies, Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, and Tyson.     Job Description: Shift Brewer

    Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities:
    Shift Brewer
    • Work with the production team to meet goals related to the brewing process
    • Milling, Wort production, yeast management, dry hopping, cellaring of production beers and other production related tasks
    • Focus on quality
    • General cleaning of brewery and cellar areas
    • Daily CIP of tanks
    • Transfer beer
    • Keg beer
    • Cleaning kegs
    • General organization of the brewing area
    • Work with packaging team as needed
    • Work with the production team and management to accomplish any additional work
    • Follow safety protocols and SOP’s

    Skills/Experience desired:
    • At least one year experience in a production brewery or equivalent education
    • Strong desire to grow in the craft beer field
    • Background in biology, microbiology, chemistry or other related science, preferred
    • General mechanical skills/knowledge
    • Good communication skills
    • Cicerone Certified Beer Server
    • Punctual
    • Ability to lift at least 60lbs
    • Work safely in hot, wet, humid and cold conditions

    Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, early mornings and some weekends as needed.
    Compensation dependent on experience.
