    Wander Brewing is an award winning brewery located in beautiful Bellingham, WA. We craft traditional and creative ales and lagers while blending style guidelines and innovation with mixed fermentations and our GABF and WBC medal-winning Wander Barrel Project beers. We are a small, tight knit, family run brewery and our production team is integral to all aspects of our business from sourcing raw materials to on-premise sales and special events. Our team is committed to creating world class beers, and we devote ourselves to tirelessly achieving this goal. We will always value quality over quantity, and expect our brewers to bring this same passion, authenticity, and dedication to the brewery and our beers each and every day. We require our brewers to be flexible and enthusiastic with all duties that might arise, with a think outside the box mindset. We have incredibly high standards, but believe that hard work is rewarded with more responsibility and growth at the brewery.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Wort Production on our 20 bbl brewhouse
    • Transferring/Racking beer
    • Carbonation of beer
    • CIP
    • Packaging of both kegs and bottles
    • Yeast management and lab work
    • Grain Milling
    • Barrel maintenance
    • Cleaning of all sorts!
    • Sensory evaluation
    • Forklift operation
    • Represent Wander Brewing at special events

    Job Qualifications:

    • 2+ years commercial brewing experience required
    • Completed or currently enrolled in formal brewing education/certificate preferred
    • High School diploma or GED required and college degree preferred
    • Attention to detail
    • An open and flexible mind, positive attitude, and strong desire to learn
    • Self-motivated
    • Passion for the brewing process
    • Desire to work in a team environment, committed to the team and brewery’s success
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience with barrel aging a plus
    • Committed to safety and cleanliness
    • Must be able to lift 55 pounds repeatedly
