We are a community craft brewery with a passion for our beer, our people, and our planet. As a social enterprise, we strive to make our community stronger, happier, and more connected, and to bring people together by brewing great beer.
We are planning to open in Summer 2017, and are looking for a head brewer to help build this vision into a reality.
We are a husband and wife team with backgrounds in community development and business management, and are looking for a head brewer who shares our devotion to outstanding beer and impactful business.
Fostering community is core to how we operate. We will provide jobs to people who face barriers to employment, source as much as possible locally, and create a community space that brings diverse people together in a transitioning neighborhood in Philly. Our head brewer should be excited to help educate people about craft beer, develop new talent, and help build a purpose-driven business. He/she should also have experience managing people, schedules and equipment. We’re looking for someone who may be interested in becoming a partner and really shaping the direction of this brewery. There will be a lot of room for creativity in designing the brewing system, creating top-notch recipes, and working with us to build this brewery into a well-known and well-loved institution in our community and beyond.
