Odin Brewing Co. is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a packaging/cellar operator at our Tukwila production plant.
The ideal candidate will be an organized individual with a strong work ethic and great attitude. A college degree or certificate from brewing institution is preferred. Curiosity, self-motivation and strong communication skills are necessary. This is an entry level position that may include an opportunity for growth within the company as well as the option to participation in events, brewery nights and direct interaction with the public.
Position: Packaging/Cellar Operator
Reports to: Lead Brewer
Compensation: Hourly/DOE
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Cleaning and racking kegs
• Canning and bottling products
• CIP and SIP of tanks packaging equipment
• Maintenance of filling and filtration equipment
• Dry hopping, fining and filtration
• Preparing Cask Conditioned Beer
• Shipping/receiving
• Recordkeeping
• General Labor and cleaning
Requirements:
• Must be able to lift 55lbs
• Must be able to safely move 165lbs
• Strong troubles hooting skills
• Work in a loud, wet environment in hot and cold conditions
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Work safely around hazardous materials and lift trucks
• Follow SOPs
• Work as needed, with occasional late night or weekend work
• No previous brewing experience is necessary, positive attitude and desire to learn are essential
