Mayflower Brewing Company – America’s Hometown Brewery – located in historic Plymouth, Massachusetts is seeking a full-time assistant brewer/cellarman.
Responsibilities:
• All aspects of brewing, including grain handling, wort production, and brewhouse CIP.
• All aspects of cellaring, including yeast management, fermentation, conditioning, filtration, and CIP.
• Assist, when needed, in packaging activities, including kegging, canning and bottling.
• Help manage inventory of raw materials and brewery supplies.
• Help manage brewery equipment and supplies to ensure that the brewery is in good working order.
• Occasional weekend work possible, including promotional activity at the brewery and beer events.
Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1+ years of commercial brewing experience or equivalent education
• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic
• Able to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 165 lbs. Able to twist, turn, crouch, and squat repeatedly throughout day.
• Willingness to learn. Flexibility and enthusiasm for the position.
This is a full-time, hourly position with overtime. Salary based on experience. Benefits include, paid holidays, 12 additional days paid-time off per year, and health care plan.
