JOB SUMMARY
Flying Dog Brewery’s Packaging Manager is responsible for ensuring quality standards, while maintaining a safe, clean, and well organized workspace. This person must work across departments to coordinate production and personnel scheduling, participate in safety, quality, and maintenance meetings, and ensure all administrative functions are being completed in a timely manner.

Brewery or other production experience (5+ years). Packaging experiences a plus. Demonstrated leadership experience (3+ years).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist Director of Packaging and Logistics by identifying work procedures, preparing work schedules, and expediting workflow
- Lead the team in packaging a high volume of quality craft beer in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensuring clean and sanitary equipment and working environment
- Work with department heads and production team to improve processes that contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Drive continual improvement - actively anticipate needs and troubleshoot potential problems before they arise
- Provides continuous process improvement and efficiencies within the packaging operations by enhancing existing procedures, developing new procedures
- Labor Management and Organization
- Create, maintain and audit all SOP’s and Checklists
- Develop operator specific training programs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Able to impact and effect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach
- Competent in using Excel and Microsoft Office
