UK Based Evan-Evans Brewery Seek Brewer

Evan-Evans is an International Award winning brewer based in South Wales in the UK. We are a successful brand leader, with ambitions to grow further. We are well financed, and have a significant free trade and wholesale market place.
We brew a range of beers which include the Evan-Evans, Artisan and Celt Brands, which are sold throughout Europe. We are quality driven.
We own an award winning pub estate which is set to grow, along with a new packaging and retail business.
The Job
We have a position for a second brewer, who in the absence of the head brewer will be responsible for production of a range of cask, Keg and bottle beers.
The position is based at the brewery in Llandeilo, and is full time. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person in a family business, with long term job security.
This could lead to a career promotion within the business.
You
Ideally you will have at least 2 years-experience working in brewing on a 40brls brew plant, although all applicants will be considered on their individual merits.
You will need to be able to show a hands-on approach to team management and getting things done.
You will have a good handle on laboratory based QC, and weekly reporting.
The ideal candidate will also possess a relevant brewing degree or qualification from an internationally recognized body such as Heriot-Watt University’s ICBD, IBD, Siebel, VLB or UC Davis.
International applicant are welcome as the business holds the relevant Sponsors and Visa licenses.
Remuneration
The remuneration package is based on experience. The package consists of a good basic salary and a profit share.
