JOB SUMMARY
The Cellar/Brewer position will work in all areas of the brewery (Brewhouse, Cellar, and Packaging), reporting directly to the Head Brewer. The position will focus on maintaining a clean work environment, CIP of fermenters, carbonating beer, harvesting yeast, dry hopping, operating the filter, taking gravity measurements, operating the forklift to load/unload trucks, brewing on the pilot system, and brewing in the Brewhouse.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Maintaining a clean work environment throughout the brewery
• Daily operation of the forklift loading/unloading trucks and organizing pallets of materials as they arrive
• Helping to operate the mobile bottling line
• Brewing on the pilot system
• Brewing on the main system
• Milling in specialty grains
• Operating the DE filter
• CIP of Fermenters and the Brew house
• Dry Hopping
• Harvesting Yeast
• Taking gravity measurements
• Attending and participating in beer festivals and at work events
• Being an ambassador of the brand
• Contributing to a positive work environment through open and constructive dialog
• Contributing and being receptive to continual innovation and improvements
• Communicating issues and concerns as they arise with staff and management
Hours
The employee will work an 8-hour shift. That shift may change weekly depending on the needs of the brewery. To start the shift would be 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. The shift will be communicated the previous week so that schedules will be known.
