Rincon Brewery is looking to hire an experienced brewer to lead our new production facility in Ventura CA. Along with the production facility the position will also oversee our Carpinteria brewery. The head brewer must have a passion for craft beer and a desire to think outside the box to create new beers while maintaining the highest levels of quality and brand integrity.
Job Description:
As head brewer, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the production process of both breweries to create top-quality, consistent beer while meeting production goals. Applicants must have extensive technical brewing knowledge, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of brewery safety, sanitation, quality control, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a cohesive brew staff for both brewery locations
- Maintain detailed records for all aspects of the brewery operations
- Create and develop new recipes
- Experience with operating canning and bottling equipment
- Maintain clean production facilities
- Must be willing to work flexible hours (including some weekends)
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- minimum 3 years industry experience
- Leadership and ability to manage employees
- Computer skills - Able to use Microsoft Excel, Word
