Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
This is a great opportunity to work for a brewery that has won World Beer Cup and GABF medals. We are looking for a creative brewer to flourish in an environment that celebrates creative small batch brews; while still keeping the production brewing on schedule. The success of our company has allowed us to build a 10,0000 square foot facility that houses a JVNW 20 barrel brewhouse, 7 fermentors, 3 Brites, Wild Goose canning line, Bottling line and barrel aging program. As you can tell, this is a full time position.Requirements: 3+ years of Production Brewing Experience In-depth understanding of all barrel aging processes Training and teaching new team members Desire to constantly improve product and processes All aspects of wort production on a 20 BBL brewhouse Monitor and record all necessary info in the brewing process Have the ability to collaborate and effectively communicate Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook Execute the production schedule Be available for special events and brewery activities Live in or be willing to relocate to Evansville, IN
Responsibilities: Maintaining our core brands plus special releases on the 20 barrel system Innovate new recipes to be featured in the tasting room Manage brewhouse and raw ingredients Produce beer for the on premise tap room and distribution Maintain the Barrel ageing program Maintain a clean, safe and well organized facility Perform other duties as assigned
