The Cayman Islands Brewery is a production facility working with a 40HL fully automated brewhouse, producing 15,000HL annually. We are looking to add a shift brewer to our team. We run 2 shifts (5am or 2pm start time), occasional weekend work is expected, especially during our peak season (October – April)
Main Responsibilities:
• Wort Production
• Filtration on a plate and frame KG filter
• Filling of kegs
• Accurate record keeping and Data input
• CIP of tanks and lines
• Yeast pitching and collection
• Minor maintenance (Replace worn gaskets, repair air hoses etc..)
• General cleanliness of the Brewery
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year in some form of brewing facility, preference will be given to those who have experience in a production facility
• Some form of brewing/ science education preferred but not necessary with adequate experience and right attitude
• Filtration experience preferred but not necessary
• Can do attitude
• Must take pride in your work
• Must be able to lift 25kg (50lbs) to shoulder height repeatedly
• Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be flexible with working late nights and weekends when required
