Three Notch'd Brewing Co., based in Charlottesville, VA is looking for an experienced shift brewer on our 20bbl 2-vessel brewhouse at our main production facility.
A little about Three Notch'd...
- Five years old and continuing to grow very rapidly
- 700 bbls in fermentation capacity
- Produced 6,500 bbls in 2017, on target to do over 12,000 bbls in 2018 with the expansion into the new facility late 2017.
- 4 locations: Restaurant and main facility in Charlottesville with pilot breweries and taprooms in Harrisonburg and Richmond and a soon-to-open brewpub in Roanoke.
- First brewery in Virginia to open up satellite location. There are now over 10 breweries doing the same thing.
- First brewery in recent years to start their own distribution company. Since then, 12 breweries have followed suit, but we are the largest brewery in the state to still do so
- Founded on a focus on telling the stories of Virginia through collaboration brewing. 75% of the beers we make are collaborations with local bars/restaurants, homebrewers, charity organizations, bands, etc. Our three satellite locations are Roanoke, Richmond and Valley Collab Houses.
What we're looking for...
- shift brewer with flexible availability
- we have recently moved to a 4 day, 24 hour brewing cycle. Shifts rotate every two weeks and pay differential is offered for later shifts. (25% for evenings and 50% increase for graveyard
- benefits, including health insurance is available
- lots of opportunities for lateral and upward moves in the fast-growing, 4-location company
