    Woodfour Brewing Co., located in Sebastopol, Ca. is seeking to add a member to it’s brewing crew. We are looking for a qualified individual to grow with us and contribute to our team a meaningful way through the execution of wide range of responsibilities. We produce a variety of beers and maintain a substantial wild beer program. The position will encompass everything from wort production to packaging on our canning line as well as servicing accounts and everything in between. The position reports directly to Head Brewer and Ownership.
    The duties of the job include but are not limited too:

    Brewery:
    -Wort Production, transfer, and analysis
    -Brewhouse cleaning and CIP
    -Raw Material receiving and inventory
    -Spent grain removal

    Cellar:
    -Fermentation management
    -Beer Transfers
    -Dry hopping, blending, fruit and spice additions
    -Tank CIP
    -Keg Cleaning and filling
    -Canning line and bottling operation
    -Record Keeping
    -Barrel filling, sampling and maintenance
    -Sensory and lab analysis
    -Yeast and Culture management

    Logistics and Sales support:
    -Beer Delivery (approx 1 day per week)
    -Occasional attendance and brand support at events (if and when they happen again..)

    Requirements:
    -Must be at least 21 Years of Age
    -2 years experience in commercial brewery setting (wine and cider making converts welcome!)
    -Ability to repeatedly lift over 55lbs
    -Working knowledge of aseptic techniques

    Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    -Ability to multitask and prioritize in an efficient manner
    -Comfortable working in tight spaces, cold, hot and damp conditions
    -Ability to work independently
    -Ability to understand and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Material Safety Data, Sheets (MSDS)
    -Ability to communicate positively & effectively with team members across the organization
    -Strong understanding of a wide range of beers style
    -Strict attention to detail
    -Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals
    -Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 170 lbs., reach over shoulders, and perform repetitive motions

    -Willingness to be adaptable and complete tasks sometimes out of the regular scope of the job (we are a small company and we all wear many hats)
