Riverghost Distributing is a small (but swiftly growing) 4 month old distributorship based in Northern Kentucky. We represent a strong but focused portfolio of craft beverage brands, including Rhinegeist Brewery and wineCRAFT. We have built a strong and dedicated team who believe in the power of craft, and are looking for a new team member to help grow our current business in Louisville.
Riverghost Distributing - Sales Manager - Louisville, KY
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience in beverage sales experience with a brewery, distributor or retailer (or similar relevant business experience).
• Valid Driver’s License, good driving record and a reliable automobile.
• Comfort with mobile technology.
• Ability to handle and maneuver 40lb cases of wine and 165lb kegs of beer.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute business plan to grow the Louisville Market.
• Build & execute Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Plans to achieve Annual Market Goals.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key retailers and chains.
• Represent our brands at festivals, dinners, tastings and events.
• Manage POS & execute marketing strategy throughout the territory.
• Sell in and conduct training programs with retailers, restaurateurs and consumers on the Riverghost portfolio.
Ideal Candidates:
• Lead by example and take initiative; are gregarious & outgoing.
• Are energetic, organized and motivated problem solvers.
• Are passionate about craft beer and fine wine.
• Have strong sales, communication and presentation skills.
• Live in Louisville - and have deep knowledge of the local beverage market.
• Enjoy extensive car travel.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Position reports directly to Sales Director.
