    The Role:

    Westward Whiskey is looking for an outstanding individual to join our team in the role of Packaging Line Supervisor, responsible for the safe, efficient and quality bottling of distilled spirit products and in maintaining related equipment. This individual will work directly with the Bottling Line Manager, while ultimately reporting to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about single malt whiskey and has critical thinking skills, attention to detail and a drive to learn that will allow them to shine in this role. Responsibilities include:
    • Scheduling and managing a team of bottlers to bottle distilled spirits product as needed to company specifications
    • Operating and maintaining all semi-automated packaging equipment in a safe and productive manner
    • Maintaining a hygienic and clean working environment for packaging operations
    • Assisting the Bottling Line Manager in managing inventories of packaging goods and finished products and in managing warehouse operations

    Qualifications:
    • Previous beverage production experience strongly preferred
    • Mechanical aptitude and ability to adjust equipment as
    • Forklift certification and experience preferred but not required
    • Strong organizational & tracking skills
    • Able to move & reposition materials weighing up to 50 lbs
    • Capable of working in a warehouse environment with limited climate control
    • Conformance to attendance, time keeping, drug and alcohol, and additional handbook policies
    • High school diploma or GED and 21+ due to insurance requirements
    • Eligible for work in the U.S.

    Additional Information:
    • Position is full-time and non-exempt
    • Relocation assistance is not currently offered.
