FULLTIME PACKAGING/BREWHOUSE ASSISTANT

Newburgh Brewing Company in the Hudson Valley Region of New York is seeking a new member for our brewing team.

This is an entry-level position with an opportunity to learn and grow as we continue to grow as a brewery. The ideal candidate will have the same dedication to quality and work ethic as the rest of our Brewing Team.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Canning line operation
Keg washing and filling
Equipment and facilities maintenance and cleaning
Pallet staging and preparation of delivery vehicles
Use of Forklift and Pallet Jack

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to learning the art of brewing quality beer. Brewing experience a plus but is not a strict requirement. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and work hard are the most important requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


This is a physically demanding job that requires a certain level of fitness.

Ability to sit or stand and work with hands and arms for at least eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week

Ability to safely lift at least 50 lbs and be able to push/pull up to 5000 lbs using a pallet jack
Ability to climb on and off delivery vehicles when loading/unloading
