Origin Brewing is looking for a Head Brewer to join our startup team in Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota. Origin Brewing is a well-funded startup packaging brewery with a large taproom, focused on Belgian and farmhouse beers using local and seasonal ingredients. The candidate will be a core member of the team, offering a chance to buy and build an all-new 15-BBL brewing system, and to then define the brewing direction of the company, which will also have robust barrel-aging and sour programs. We are focusing on the local and regional market, with the resources to scale as quickly as the market will allow.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Commercial brewing experience
• Head Brewer experience a plus
• Strong mechanical skills
• Yeast Handling proficiency
• Excellent communication and organizational standards
• A strong work ethic
• Appreciation of fine beer
• Enjoyment of interacting with the consumer
This position reports directly to our Owners. Salary commensurate to experience.
