Second Line Brewing is an early-stage craft brewery located in the heart of New Orleans. We are fully funded and are preparing to begin renovating our 12,000 square foot property. Our 15-bbl brewhouse and cellar should arrive in January or February of 2015. We will also utilize a 1-bbl pilot system for recipe development and specialty beers. Packaging will consist of kegs, 22-oz bombers and 12-oz cans.
This position will provide the right brewer with an opportunity to participate in the early stage development and growth of our brewery located in the heart of New Orleans. Initially this position will share responsibility for brewing, cellaring, filtration and packaging. As we grow the incumbent will have an opportunity to increase their role in our organization; helping lay the foundation for a dynamic and creative brewing environment.

Job Requirements
• Two to six years of commercial brewing experience;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
• Ability to work well with others;
• Superior organizational skills and an eye for detail;
• Proven track record of workplace safety compliance and a desire to “do the right thing, even when no one is looking”;
• Desire to continue professional growth and education;
• A fun loving spirit who embraces the mantra of “work hard, play harder”.
