Roak Brewing Co. is looking for a passionate, hard-working individual to join our brewing team. This position will start part-time but offers the chance for rapid advancement. This position has a tentative start date of February/ March 2015. Competitive compensation DOE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•All aspects of wort production on 30 bbl brewhouse and 3.5 bbl pilot system
•Cellar operations (beer transfers, yeast handling, CIP/sanitation, etc.)
•Packaging (kegging and bottling)
•Inventory management and record keeping
•General maintenance
•Lots of Cleaning
Ideal candidate will have:
•Brewery and/or lab experience or brewing education
•Passion and dedication for brewing high quality craft beer
•Excellent communication and organizational skills
•Ability to work as a team and independently
•Flexible schedule (evening/ weekend work)
•High level of attention to details
•Willingness to learn and follow SOP’s
•Ability to safely work in a fast paced and demanding environment
