Bear Republic Brewing Co, Inc. is a family owned microbrewery located in Northern California. We are nearing our 20th anniversary and poised for growth and expansion over the next 3 to 5 years. We are looking to add an experienced brewer to our talented staff to assist in all aspects of our production brewery. We are experiencing rapid growth, and need to increase our hours of production. We produce award winning beers of the highest quality. As we like to say, “There’s a trophy in every glass.”
Duties include but are not limited to: Raw material handling, wort production, CIP processes, production records, housekeeping, cellar -related operations, yeast and handling, dissolved oxygen and CO2 checks, packaging operations, etc.
You must:
Have a positive attitude.
Be able to work on your feet for over eight hours at a time
Be able to lift up to 55lbs repeatedly
Be able to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
Be able to work in loud production environments
Be comfortable working with chemicals of varying composition
Be comfortable working from heights
Be comfortable working in damp/wet areas
Be comfortable working in confined spaces
Be comfortable completing accurate and legible paperwork
The ideal applicant will be able to meet production goals and quality guidelines with a minimum of supervision.
A formal brewing education and/or work experience relative to the position is highly desirable.
