DUTIES
-Cleaning and sanitation of brewing vessels, as well as all other equipment associated with the brewing process
-Assistance of brewing operations including all major brewing steps (prep, mashing, lautering, etc)
-Collection, and storage of yeast while maintaining a viable culture
-Beer transferring and filtration of finished product
-Dry hopping and fruit/spice addition procedures
-Preparation of brewing ingredients
-Monitoring the quality of all incoming ingredients equipment
CANDIDATES MUST
-Be highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment
-Be able to work quickly and efficiently with high attention to detail
-Be neat and organized, with a high inclination towards cleanliness
-Have great communication skills
-Be able to work effectively without supervision, as well as working as part of a team
-Be able to lift 55+ lbs safely
-Have a clean "G" Driver's Licence for accessing storage facilities
-Have experience working in cellar operations/brewing
-Have knowledge of beer quality with regards to sanitation and oxidation
-Have knowledge of clean-in-place (CIP) processes
-Forklift experience would be an asset
-Some weekend availability required
-Post Secondary Brewing Certification equivalent an asset
