BREWER & CELLAR POSITIONS-
Gnarly Barley is looking for a full-time Brewer and Cellarman that is hardworking, and physically fit. We are a growing company located just outside New Orleans who’s mission is to produce top quality, cutting edge products. This position works with other Gnarly Barley team members at least 40hrs a week.
Responsibilities will include the following as well as other tasks:
Following proper SOPs in all aspects of production
Operating and cleaning a 30bbl brewhouse
Picking and milling grain
Forklift Operations
Transferring beer from FVs to BBT
Dry-hopping
Harvesting, propagating and pitching yeast
Fermenter and bright tank CIP
Measurement/maintenance of proper carbonation and levels
Applicant requirements:
Prior experience is strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude – troubleshooting ability under pressure
Ability to work long and varied hours
Ability to multitask and work professionally with other
Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklift / pallet jack etc)
Meticulous attention to detail
