Summary:
I am actively pursuing a career in the craft beer industry. I am currently enrolled in the Wake Tech Commercial Brewing program, and my objective is to obtain a position as a Cellarman or Assistant Brewer.
HomeBrew Experience
June 2018 - Present
I brew on a 3-tier, all-grain, electric, 5-gallon brewhouse that runs off a 240v PID brewing controller, designed and manufactured by Spike Brewing. It is outfitted with a Heat Exchanged Recirculated Mash (HERMS) coil, butterfly valves with tri-clamp fittings, and counter-flow wort chiller. I ferment in a Spike Brewing 7-gallon stainless steel conical fermenter with temperature control, racking arm, and sampling valve, cooled by a Penguin ⅓ hp glycol chiller. Packaging in corny kegs and storing in a dual tap kegerator.
