We need more talent! Rahr and Sons Brewing Company began in 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas. We currently produce 6 year-round beers, four 6-pack seasonals, and 9 specialty four-packs. The brewery is expanding and we need another capable person to join an excited, hard working, quality-focused team. Our beer is available in numerous states now, not just Texas. We are rapidly growing and brewing as much beer as possible to meet demand. We currently brew on a JVNorthwest 50bbl brewhouse, and we are looking to increase our production team accordingly. This position also offers room to grow as we expand our operation. This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, working days, nights, and weekends.

Supervisors: Head Brewer, Director of Operations

Job Responsibility of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Brewhouse operations (milling, wort production, filtering, etc.)
• CIP/Sanitation
• Yeast Management
• Raw Materials
• Equipment Maintenance
• Forklift Operation
• Record Keeping

Other duties can include:

• Brand representative at events and festivals
• Brewery tours
• Support of sales staff

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional brewer in a commerical brewery or brewpub
• Formal education preferred, but not required
• Self-starter, independent thinker, mature and confident personality
• Ability and desire to direct and motivate others
• Desire to grow professionally, drive to stay current with trends and topics, strong knowledge of beer styles
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Flexible schedule; willing to work long hours during high volume times, including nights and weekends
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Work, Email, etc.
• Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving and troubleshooting nature
• 21 years or older
• Ability to work in a load, wet, cold/hot environment for long periods of time
• Able to lift 55lb and move full kegs
• Appreciation of the Wu-Tang Clan

• FT salary based on experience
