    Making beer, memories and impact, one pour at a time!

    Hop Haus Brewing Company is seeking a talented Brewer for our new 15 bbl brewpub. Almost 5 years ago Hop Haus Brewing Company was born out of hopes and dreams and has been pouring beers at our Verona, WI location ever since. Hop Haus is family owned and operated and our team is expanding. Now, as we are on the doorstep of opening a 13,000 square foot facility with a production area, canning line, kitchen, event space and patio in Fitchburg, WI we are looking to add a full-time brewer to our growing team. The new facility will be operational in May 2020.

    Hop Haus maintains a portfolio of core beers as well as a heavily rotating draft lineup. We produce/package beers for on-premise sales, retail and wholesale distribution. As mentioned above we’ll be undergoing a significant expansion in 2020. The person filling this position will play a role in contributing not only to the success of this project but the creation of a new beer community. Come join our family!

    Creativity types needed
    Opportunities for creativity are abundant in this position. If desired, the brewer will have opportunities to interact with customers in events such as beer dinners, and brewery tours. Also, brewing experimental/test recipes on our 3bbl system is encouraged.

    Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years brewing experience in a commercial setting of comparable size. We offer:

    Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Maintain Hop Haus’ reputation for producing consistently excellent beer
    • Ability to work with and train passionate team members
    • Strong recipe writing skills
    • Raw ingredient ordering, inventory management and documentation
    • Cellar Operations (FV management, CIP, transfers, clarification, yeast management)
    • Be able to regularly lift up to 55 lbs and move 160 lbs as needed
    • Maintain, clean, organize equipment


    Requirements:
    1 – 3+ years of production and cellar experience (preferably in a 10 BBL brew house or larger). Homebrew experience does not count.
    Additionally, we are looking for:
    • High School Graduate or equivalent. Brewing education/ certificate is a plus
    • Team player who can think critically and multitask
    • Strong time-management and production planning skills
    • Good communication skills. Includes staff and guest interaction
