Resonate Brewery + Pizzeria is looking to add a part-time Assistant Brewer/Cellarperson to join our team. Position would begin with approximately 20 hours per week. During the initial 3 months of training and onboarding the schedule will likely be based on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday schedule. However, the intent is to have this role provide weekend coverage and eventually become a full-time position.
Initial responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Cleaning and care of brewery equipment and parts
• Cleaning & maintenance of draught lines/faucets
• Keg filling & cleaning
• Basic facilities cleaning & maintenance
• Basic brewery equipment maintenance
• Grain and Hop handling, measurement and inventory management
• Monitoring Fermentation
• Cleaning/sanitizing of all brewery vessels
• Wort and beer transfer
• Hop & adjunct additions
• Strict adherence to sanitary and record-keeping standards
• Assist lead brewer with brewing, transfers, maintenance, etc
• Representing the brewery at events and festivals as occasionally needed
Necessary Qualities:
• Previous brewing experience preferred (professional or avid homebrewer)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Close attention to details
• Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities
• Efficient communication with team and customers
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Punctuality & Reliability
Requirements:
• Able to lift 55 lbs regularly, 110 lbs. from ground to waist high, and moving 150 lbs. along the floor
• Stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Handling of hazardous materials
Compensation:
+ $15 - $17/hour depending on experience
+ complimentary shift meals and drinks
