Claim 52 Brewing is looking for a highly motivated, hard working, and positive sales representative interested in part-time employment. The focus will key account management for restaurants and retail suppliers of Claim 52 beer with focus on the Portland Metro area. Candidates must be able to work independently while being accountable to supporting team goals, and to develop consistent and responsive relationships with accounts.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Achieve planned sales and distribution goals
Develop new business and grow existing accounts within established sales territory
Track and monitor success of our products in all identified accounts
Maintaining consistent market visitation in assigned territory with a minimum number of account contacts per week
Work with fellow team members to increase sales while adhering to sales budgets
Promote the Claim 52 Brewing portfolio
Maintain a positive working relationship with retailers, helping them resolving any product related issues
Handle customer inquiries regarding product information and other questions
Organize and represent Claim 52 Brewing at festivals and events
Conduct promotional events in accounts on a regular basis (beer tastings, tap takeovers)
Support and promote Claim 52 Brewing’s core values and purpose
Manage the care of specialty accounts needing small batch or unique product
Ensure continuing loyalty with high volume and visibility accounts
Maintain contact with current accounts, periodically checking in to ensure they are aware of most recent beer styles and Claim 52 beer is still represented
Preferred Qualifications include:
1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Oregon beer and wine market
Strong passion and understanding of craft beer and its interrelatedness to local foods
Friendly, positive, confident and engaging attitude
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
Proficient in computer programs such as Word, Excel, and the ability to quickly learn mobile invoicing and brewery operations apps
Willing to do more than is asked
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with limited direction or supervision
Self motivated and energetic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to diagnose problems and seek operational efficiencies
Ability to understand and follow SOPs
Ability to maintain records of work with a strong organizational skill and attention to detail (Sales calls sheets)
Minimum Requirements:
21 years of age
A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to use own car each day if the need arises
1-3 years of sales or customer service experience
Ability to lift and move kegs (55-175lbs) frequently and safely
Obtain an OLCC server’s permit within 2 weeks of employment
Wage will be based on experience.
