I began making beer and cider at home in 1993. After a 20+ year career in an office I'm giving my full attention to my passion.
In 2019, I completed the Siebel Institute’s Concise Course in Brewing Technology.
In 2022, I completed The Cider Institute of North America’s Cider and Perry: Science, Practice, and Quality Assured Production classes.
I am seeking an apprenticeship in beverage production operations where I can gain practical hands-on experience that will allow me to further my World Brewing Academy (WBA) education and complete the Advanced Brewing Theory Programme.
Since 2019 I have operated a 180L/48Gal. pilot batch cidery and am developing a process to extract hop acids quickly and effectively using pressure-cooking to create more ‘ale-like’ flavour compounds in cider.
